Genuine French Army Surplus government issue.

     This is the French army issue parka issued from the late eighties/ early nineties until the change to camouflage in the late 90s. The parka is a well-designed item but not as long in the body as most parkas and slightly more fitted in style. It has a removable fleece liner, 2 slanted waist pockets with a snap fastening flap, drawstring adjustment on the hood and adjustable cuffs. It also has shoulder epauleetes and a pocket on the left sleeve. The small velcro patch at the front would have been for insignia.

 

Originally it was a waterproof parka butwe cannot vouch for it now as the proofing did age. They may well be fine but we are not advertising them as waterproof.
