Superb quality and an item now copied by other forces. This is a waterproof, windproof, breathable jacket made from genuine GoreTex material, taped and sealed internally with genuine Gore seam tape. The jacket is zip-fastening with a 2-way zip and has a stud -fastening storm flap, underneath which are 2 velcro-closing breast pockets. There are 2 flap-covered side pockets and underarm 'pit zips' for extra ventilation if needed. There is a small flap-covered pocket on the left sleeve and each sleeve has a reinforced patch from elbow to cuff to provide extra durability on the wear points. Also the sleeves have a velcro adjuster for the cuffs and the hood has a toggle adjusted drawcord.       Inside there is a complete nylon lining including the hood, with a very useful lower elasticated snow skirt. There is also an elasticated waist draw cord.         This is a superb, well-thought out design and quite simply the best military gortex jacket on the market. They can be bought from a  US government supplier but for over £300. Grab yourself a real bargain.       Please note that these jackets are genuine US government military issue items and not one of the hugely inferior copies that are on the market which are NOT made from GoreTex and have few of the features.
